Hey all, hope we are all in the Christmas Spirit...?
I have to admit at first I was all like 'I don't DO Christmas...I don't want it this year etc etc...' but now I am in the mood for it lol, starting to feel festive

My photography class has broken up for the Christmas holidays and we have two projects to have ready for when we get back in January; Self Image and Distortion, so I will be working hard on those hoping to have them finished on time! I've really been enjoying my course so far, I'm finding it so much easier to use my DSLR to make creative shots without using photoshop or any other editing programs, which was a goal of mine, so that's all good

It has also helped me to discover what kind of photography I'd really like to get into, which is definately looking like action/sport photography, or urban photography. I love the whole feeling of capturing a moment, and sometimes this is a moment that you may not have even realised happened with your naked eye...ah the joys of fast shutter speeds eh?
Just to change the subject slightly I am planning on doing a 5K run for charity, and so have started going to the gym more frequently, and I am thinking of joining a running club too, as it would be nice to have like minded people around me and to run with etc. Any way this is going to be the theme of my self image project for my photography class. I'm planning on presenting the photos as like a diary type thing, showing my progress and portraying the fact that it's a goal for me to acheive etc. So that's the idea just got to work on getting it done lol.
Nearly finished the xmas shopping, just a couple more to go and then just gotta wait for the big day really, which is two weeks away on friday by the way, for those of you that don't know hehe.
Anyway that's all for now, will be updating my photos soon. Gonna put a few more urban/action ones on that I've done, so watch out for those.
Take care all and keep up the good work.

It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. It is the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance. It is the one who won't be taken who cannot seem to give. And the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live. - Bette Midler
